VIDEO: Powerful Corporate Impact: Consumer Health, Education, and Human Rights
At the Wheelock College Global Causes Conference in June 2013, panelists examined the importance of corporate investments on health, education, and human rights. Eduardo Garrido, Director at Santander Universities, says that the consumer must demand that companies give back and make these investments. Craig Bida, Executive Vice President of Cone Communications, says that consumers are already demanding these changes, and describes how corporations making a partnership with a nonprofit is beneficial to everyone involved. Activist Maya Azucena believes strongly in using her gift, which is her singing voice, to help people.
