WATCH: Water as a Human Right

An estimated 780 million people in the world lack access to clean water, and 3.4 million people die annually from water-related disease. Panelists at the Wheelock College Global Causes Conference in June 2013 talked about the importance of schools having access to clean water in order for children to focus on their education. These panelists include Salva Dut, Founder and President of Water for South Sudan, Inc., Brian Concannon Jr., a human rights lawyer and activist, and Jackie Carnevali, Director and President of the Board of the Navionics Education Foundation.
